Wood Restoration
A place to sit should last as long as the name it faces.
AGG Restoration restores city park benches and wooden structures that live beside memorials: cemetery benches, gazebo rails, wooden crosses, and outdoor furnishings that weather Chicago seasons. Splits, rot, peeling finish, and failed joinery are assessed first. We repair what can be saved, replace only what must go, and refinish so the piece belongs to the grounds again — a cheaper, quieter path than tearing it out. Work stays on site when the structure can remain in place.
How it works
Four careful steps.
01
Look closely
We check wood, joints, and how the piece sits in the landscape — then say plainly what can be saved.
02
Write it down
Repairs, finish, and a schedule the cemetery or park can live with.
03
Restore
Joinery, replacement of failed boards, and a finish suited to outdoor memorial grounds.
04
Hand it back
A stable bench or structure, swept site, and notes on how to keep the wood sound.
